A Place to Be together, Be creative, and Be seen
For folks 14-18 years old
Imagine a space where you are able to create the art you're most pulled towards (painting, drawing, sculpture, poetry, music, performance, etc.) around a particular theme and be showcased every few months in a gallery and performance event. Where you are allowed to free-flow in your own creative way and at the same time receive guidance. Kelly Tisdel and Arno Boer come together to offer this new form of supportive experience where you can exhale from the world, take a deep breath,
and find your creative voice among peers.

Be Together
In AVībe, we come together to feel held and supported in our art and our expression, as well as in who we are. With mentorship and guidance, Kelly and Arno create an environment where you can deepen the ease of how to weave within a group and still be you. Within our small community, we turn towards one another to figure out some of the awkwardness of life and our unique place within it.
Be Creative
In AVībe, you get the chance to find your voice through creative expression. Whether it be in two-dimensional, three-dimensional, or performance art, you are invited to create what wants to be expressed. Every three month session, we will have a theme as inspiration to create from. This allows for a flow of guided freedom as you drop deeper into your art and into your being.
Another facet to this program is emphasis on the creative process and methods. Techniques will be taught for the various mediums, as well as guest artists will be invited in to share their creative insights and skill-sets.
Be Seen
At the end of every three month session, AVībe will host a showcase of our participants' work. This will be a multi-medium event where the audience will be invited to become part of the art. Besides displaying their art, the participants will come up with little performance art pieces and/or flashmob (or solo) vignettes to blur the lines of art and reality, bringing the space alive.
Let’s figure life out together through our creative process, curiosity, and shared experience.
